Alpha-Stim has been clinically trialled and proven effective since the early 1980s in the USA to treat anxiety, insomnia, depression, and pain. Alph-Stim uses cranial electrotherapy stimulation (CES) in its Alpha-Stim AID and M devices, and microcurrent electrical therapy (MET) in its Alpha-Stim M device. Alpha-Stim has recently been adopted into local primary care establishments for routine anxiety, isomnia, and depression treatment.

  • Overall Decrease in Anxiety – In clinical trials, patients reported an average of 61% less anxiety immediately after using the CES therapy. After 5 weeks, the average was 94%.
  • Decrease in Depression – In clinical trials, Alpha-Stim recipients reported an 82% decrease of ≥ 50% or greater in depression scores after five weeks using the CES therapy.
  • Increased Sleep Time – After only 5 Alpha-Stim insomnia treatments, military service members with insomnia reported an increase of 43 minutes of sleep.
